Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has inaugurated a massive underground missile base on the shores of the Persian Gulf amid rising tensions with the United States.
International news agency Al Jazeera quoted Iranian state television as saying on Friday (January 6th).
Footage broadcast on Iranian state television shows high-ranking commanders of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps entering an underground base. There, the Iranian commanders entered a tunnel, which is full of different types of missiles, trucks and missile launchers.
However, the Iranian authorities did not say the location of the missile base.
Iran inaugurated the underground missile base just hours after the United States deployed two B-52 strategic bombers capable of carrying nuclear weapons in the Middle East.
